Dissemination of ICA-AP Study on Gender-Based Policies in Cooperatives

The ICA-AP Committee on Women has released a research study titled “Review of Gender-Based Policies in Cooperatives in Asia and Pacific.” The study examines how gender equality is reflected in cooperative laws, policies and institutional frameworks across the Asia-Pacific region, with the objective of promoting more gender-inclusive cooperative ecosystems. A country flyer highlighting key findings and India’s perspective is provided below for a quick overview of the study.

Member organisations and stakeholders are encouraged to go through the study and share it within their respective networks and stake holders, as it may serve as a useful reference for strengthening initiatives related to gender equality and inclusive cooperative development.
