Introduction & Objective

The National Centre for Cooperative Education is the education and training division of National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), an apex organization of the Indian Cooperative Movement located at New Delhi. It was established in 1958.

The main objective of the centre is to provide cooperative education to the elected Chairmen/Directors and employees of Cooperative Organizations on a regular basis. This provides them with an opportunity to know the latest developments in the cooperative sector and various government policies adopted from time to time. We organize around sixty programmes in a year.

The programmes are organized at our centre in New Delhi, at IFFCO and KRIBHCO Plants and in collaboration with RICMs/ICMs of NCCT located in various states. Special programmes tailor-made for the needs of weaker sections of cooperatives, women cooperatives and north-eastern states are also conducted. The centre in over 5 decades of service to the field of cooperative education has carved out a niche for itself and is poised for a steady growth in the years to come.
